Refined, expressive and beautifully balanced, the 2025 Windmill Pinot Noir is a wine of finesse that will reward careful cellaring over the coming years, while offering immediate appeal alongside duck, mushroom dishes and roast poultry.

There is no mistaking the energy and power in the 2025 Chardonnays and the Merricks is laden with electric lime and citrus notes. On the palate the structure and complementary effects of the oak are prevalent but it is the balance and power that shine above all. An extremely exciting release.    

A vibrant expression of the Mornington Peninsula, showcasing the purity and elegance of this renowned cool-climate region. Aromas of white peach, nectarine and citrus blossom are complemented by subtle notes of grapefruit, roasted hazelnut and a hint of sea spray.

The hallmark of our home Chardonnay blocks is white florals, mineral energy and grapefruit pith flavours and they are all unmistakeable in the 2025 Reserve. A wine of power and poise with cashew and lime flavours persisting onto the finish. Rewards both ageing and drinking now. A benchmark release for us.

The 2025 incarnation of this wine is abundant in blue fruit aromas, an indication of the fantastic ripeness achieved and the quality of the vine material. The palate has fruit sweetness coupled with tannin structure to provide the perfect framework for aging, but not at the behest of immediate enjoyment as we see the silk tannins persist on the finish.   

The KBS Vineyard is named after our founder (Kenneth) Brian Stonier.  The vineyard was planted in front of the winery in 1988 on a steep red volcanic east facing slope.  The vineyard represented the thinking of the time, with a V shaped lyre trellis system, which was used on cold sites to open up the canopy.

Arguably the most exciting release of our fabled Reserve we have seen as a result of the quality coming out of our Estate fruit in 2025. Lifted mulberry, blueberry and truffle mushroom notes are all present. The palate is dense, powerful and laden with svelte tannin. A Pinot Noir that speaks to our heritage and our future.

Red to blue fruits, and far more density and depth than previous Stonier Pinots. The typical varietal aromas of wild strawberry and foraged pine mushrooms are prevalent, but the palate is where the wine shines brightest. Full and brooding through the mid palate and finishing with svelte tannin, this will suitably deliver for lovers of Pinot.  

Sourced from grower vineyards located on the cool, Southern side of the Mornington Peninsula, our Stonier Chardonnay walks that perfect line between abundance of flavour and the vitality of cool climate acidity. With a deeply mineral and moreish palate, this much adored wine consistently over delivers. 

This is one of our favourite Chardonnay vineyards.  Planted in 1988, it is the vineyard that sits above our winery and cellar door at Merricks. This Lyre trellised, east facing block has a consistent thread of character that is always a lovely balance of fruit power and savouriness.
