The mild conditions on the 2021 season allowed riper flavours and balanced acid to occur at lower sugar levels. This meant that this wine has a more savoury flavour profile than the previous vintage. A classic vintage that will mature well into the medium term, developing more honey and biscuit notes with age.

This 2021 release presents the delightful character of the KBS vineyard, with beautiful lifted cherry and hints of musk. The fine silty tannins are entwined with the red fruit that dissolved towards forest floor.  96 pts James Halliday Wine Companion 2023
